Although it is said that very difficult, we are proactive in growing tea organically in order to provide a blissful cup to our customer.
We are first JAS (Japan Agricultural Standards) certified tea company in Miyazaki therefore we can produce and sell our products safety and its assurance.
“Traditional tea has been consumed as medicines. It should be grown without agricultural chemicals.” This is our belief.
Our first president Kajuro Igeta used to grow green tea (Seyama tea) in Saitama. Based on his belief “in the future, the best place for tea will be Kyushu Japan”, we finally found Kitago-town, Kuroyama in Miyazaki.
Kitago town is a small place but very famous for tea.
Flavor of tea was his particular desire.
The tea field is located at high altitude which is 350~400 meters above sea level. There is temperature gap between day and night, and the land is not volcanic ash soil.
Moreover, there is no frost damage because it is hillside tea field and the place is humid and misty because of nearby Hiroto River. Mount Kuroyama is satisfied all of the conditions of best tea. Now, we provide organically grown tea which raised in natural environment.
Our tea’s feature is a good aftertaste and a fragrant flavor because of the rich natural environment.
